Prairie View teachers Christy Nickelson and Jeffery Russell are coordinating a drive that is collecting items for the Fort Riley USO's Stockings for the Troops project again this year.

Nickelson said that If community members want to donate, they can deliver items to Prairie View High School.

The students, and now the public, are collecting money and supplies to stock stuffings for Fort Riley in Topeka and McConnell Airforce Base in Wichita.  The PVHS donations will help the USO (United Service Organization) at Fort Riley stuff over 800 stockings for soldiers who will be stationed on the bases during the holiday season.
