Mary Ellen Cochran, age 85, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on June 4, 2024. Mary was born the daughter of William Patrick and Annette J. Teig McCauley on December 27, 1938, at Omaha, Nebraska. She married Terrance "Terry" Charles Cochran on July 11, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska, he preceded her in death on May 30, 2009.
She received an associates degree from Marymount College in Los Angeles, California, and also attended Duchesne College in Omaha, Nebraska. Mary was a member of the Lions Club of Overland Park, she loved reading and gardening. But most of all she loved and cherished her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Lee McCauley and a grandchild, Janina Marie Vasquez. She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Marie Cox and husband Larry, Jenny Esther Cochran; one son, Terry Charles Cochran; one brother, William McCauley and wife; one sister, Wilanne Korth; one grandchild, Joshua George Vaxquez; and two great grandchildren, Diego and Lela.
