If these questions have you itching to shout out an answer, you’ll want to join us for Linn Valley Community Church’s Trivia Night on Oct. 19, 2024!
The event kicks off at 6 p.m. in the Club House-Downstairs, and it’s shaping up to be a night filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of brain-teasers. Trivia enthusiasts and casual players alike will gather to test their knowledge across a variety of categories, including a special section on Disney movies—perfect for the kids and the young-at-heart!
Bring your favorite finger foods to share, and feel free to invite family, friends, and neighbors. As the teams form (ranging from two to eight people), the excitement will build, with each group strategizing to see who will emerge as the trivia champions of the night. There will be three games: the first will have three rounds of 10 questions, the second features two rounds, and the final game wraps it up with a single round. From Disney movies to general knowledge, there’s something for everyone.
And here’s an extra reason to join us—the Linn Valley Community Church Youth will be hosting a bake sale to raise funds for camps and youth events. Grab some delicious treats and support our youth while you’re there!
"Trivia Night always brings out the best in people—whether you’re an expert or just there for the fun, it’s a night filled with laughter and community spirit," said Patti Seymour, chair of the church's Outreach Committee. "We love seeing new and familiar faces come together to enjoy this unique event."
A few simple rules will keep the games running smoothly: no phones during the rounds, answers are written on whiteboards, and teams must wait for the judge’s signal to show their answers. If you’re right, hold your board high until the points are recorded. If not, just lower it and get ready for the next round—there are plenty of chances to redeem yourself!
So, grab your snacks, form your team, and prepare for a fun-filled evening of trivia and camaraderie at Linn Valley Community Church. Whether you’re competing for the win or just coming to cheer on friends, this Trivia Night will be a highlight of the year. Be ready for great food, great company, a bake sale, and a whole lot of fun!
