MOUND CITY – The Linn County Commissioners heard reports from the ambulance and fire department services on Monday, Jan. 13.
Fire Chief Randy Hegwald’s report showed that there had been six calls for the week ending Jan. 11. Three were rescue and emergency medical service incidents, one was a hazardous condition (no fire), one was a service call and one was a good-intent call.
Dawn Brooks, operations manager at American Medical Response (AMR) gave the month to date ambulance reports from Jan. 1 through Jan. 12. There have been a total of 38 calls resulting in 19 transports. The average response time is 18 minutes 1 seconds.

• Centerville, 4 calls, 1 transport
• Greeley, 0 calls, 0 transports
• La Cygne, 10 calls, 6 transports
• Lane, 0 calls, 0 transports
• Fontana, 0 calls, 0 transports
• Linn Valley, 8 calls, 5 transports
• Rich Hill, 0 calls, 0 transports
• Mound City, 5 calls, 2 transports
• Parker, 0 calls, 0 transports
• Pleasanton, 7 calls, 4 transports
• Prescott, 2 calls, 1 transport
