Jayhawk students get high marks in conservation contest

Jayhawk Elementary School students won big in the annual Soil Conservation Contest for 2023. Two grand champions and three county reserve grand champions were named from the ranks of JES students


Here were the winners:


K-1 grade Poster Winners

Ethan Simpson - 1 County Grand Champion

Caleb Venecia - 2 County Reserve Grand Champion

Mason Metcalf - 3


2nd - 3rd grade Poster Winners

Mezmariah Vickrey - 1 County Grand Champion

Raymond Motes - 2 County Reserve Grand Champion

Alivea Harp - 3


4th - 6th grade Poster Winners

Charlotte Oberdorf - 2 County Reserve Grand Champion
